1. The Company respects your privacy and does not sell or rent mailing lists to third parties or marketing campaigns under any circumstances. Members cannot and will not be given access to any other subscriber's personal details via this Website, with the exception of any first name or surname as supplied solely at the members discretion for the purposes of the "Search Subscriber" facility. In addition, members who host events on the Company events pages are listed by their full names and can supply an optional mobile phone number to be published on the Website as a field for their specific event only. 6. In order to facilitate interaction amongst members, this Website allows members limited communication with other members via the use of anonymous nicknames and more particularly, via the use of the ELXS® anonymous messaging system. Thereafter, the only way in which subscribers may access other member’s personal details is if a member chooses to exchange their personal details with another member. 7. By accepting this Privacy Policy, you agree that should you exchange personal details with any other member (including, but not limited to, via the ELXS® anonymous messaging system or during your attendance at any event organised by the Company or any member), you do so entirely at your own risk and that the Company bears no responsibility or liability whatsoever in relation to any such exchange of personal details. 8. Should you chose to enter any of the Company’s competitions or surveys, we may require your contact information (for example, your name and email address) and demographic information (for example, your age or interests). In such cases, you consent to our providing your personal information to those 3rd parties as necessary in order to effect the competition or to give effect to the survey, as applicable. In such cases, we are not responsible for the Privacy Policy of those 3rd parties. 9. If you send us personal correspondence or if other users (i.e. members or otherwise) or third parties send us correspondence about your activities or postings on this Website, we may collect such information into a file specific to you and may use such contact information to correspond with you with respect to any such correspondence (including, but not limited to, reports of spam or harassment). 10. We use WorldPay Limited for the processing of all financial transactions on this Website, including the payment of subscription fees for our services. This means that the Company never has access to nor sees any of your credit card details. WorldPay Limited operate a secure server and credit card details are encrypted and payment is authorised directly by WorldPay. WorldPay Limited may transfer to, process or hold your credit card information in countries either within or outside of the European Economic Area. 11. This Website may contain links to other websites and the Company is not responsible for the privacy policy of such websites. 12. To report spam or harassment from other subscribers, please send an email to admin@ELXS.com. 16. By accepting this Privacy Policy, subscribers agree that they will only use the ELXS® anonymous messaging system provided for directly solicited communications from other subscribers. Any abuse of the Company’s anonymous messaging system will result in the immediate termination of the subscriber’s membership at the sole discretion of the Company. In such cases, there will be no refund of any fees already paid for such subscription membership. 17. Personal information held by the Company is held on and processed by computers located in the United Kingdom. 18. The Company uses industry standard security to safeguard the confidentiality of your personally identifiable information however, please be aware that “perfect security” does not exist on the internet. Further, it remains each member’s responsibility to safeguard against unauthorised access to their member details, to ensure that only the member logs on to the Company’s service, to ensure that the member logs off from the Company’s service when not using it and to keep his/her log-in details safe. 19. If all (or substantially all) of the Company’s assets which are used to operate the Company’s business are acquired by a third party, then personal information may be transferred to that third party. 20.
